American - Traditional American - Southwestern Breakfast/Brunch Sandwiches
  • 1/2 c. cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons salsa
  • 10 biscuits
  • 10 sausage patties, cooked
  • 10 slices (about 10 oz.) Pepper Jack cheese, cut in half

In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese and salsa until well blended. Slice each biscuit in half and spread with the cream cheese mixture. On the bottom biscuit half place 1/2 a slice of Pepper Jack cheese, top with a sausage patty, another 1/2 slice of cheese and the biscuit top. Microwave each biscuit for approximately 15 to 20 seconds or until heated through and the cheese melts.

*To make a heartier breakfast, add a scrambled egg to each biscuit. English muffins or bagels may be substituted for the biscuits.
